Photography

One of the perks of my work is that it introduces me to extraordinary people and places. With a camera always in hand, I'm able to record my experiences in photographs. Sometimes those images are used to illustrate my travel stories. Other times I use the pictures to trigger memories for my writing. But most importantly, photography invites me to pay closer attention to the world -- the smiles and heartaches, the colours and textures, the weather and moods -- and to tell my personal story of travel.
